The Supervillains of Non-Science Fiction is a series of satirical paintings using the sensationalistic visual language of pulp fiction covers from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s to critique various people in power today. I have attempted to critique my subjects by drawing a comparison between their atrocious acts and/or ludicrous, misleading and completely false statements to the “horror stories” and “amazing tales” of the pulp novel genre.
