Research has shown that early signs of nose-blindness may result in memory loss diseases such as Alzheimer’s. Hence sunflowers are odourless contrasting to the scented lilacs surrounding the figure. Left Behind K2 is one of the deadliest mountains that many risk to summit every year. There have been countless deaths and lost items throughout many ventures. Temperature and nostalgia display the contrast of those buried and lost items up a dangerous mountain using gas tanks to display the unsuccessful climber amongst the fallen. Swimming in Sound Music has been found to have a profound correlation to nostalgia, in many cases this can be a wonderful feeling as music tends to be connected to positive memories. However, becoming too attached to your nostalgic playlist can make it feel like you are drowning in your memories rather than exploring further. Let’s Pretend Inspired by the film Jurassic Park, sight can trigger nostalgia through the entertainment we grew up watching. Those movies and shows are often fuel for the adventures children embark on when playing pretend. You can be anyone, go anywhere and do anything! Merry Go On and On and On… Our sense of the passage of time and nostalgia can seem like a never-ending loop when going through a certain period in your life. Hindsight can make time seem quicker and less daunting. Carrossels, flipbooks and the movement of a horse’s gallop accentuate the feeling of nostalgia through a physical form. Doodle on Deck Skateboarding is a unique form of movement that has been around for decades, and the culture surrounding it has a very nostalgic quality. Creating a worn-out deck that represents all the scrapes and falls one takes while skating while designing it like a continuous overlapped doodle, emulates the sense of longevity and memory that an item can hold for someone. Sweet Coma The plethora of relationships people often have with food, sweets and fast food hold many nostalgic experiences to individuals. Whether you grew up with a positive or negative association with various fast-food chains, candies, and sugary treats, it can’t be denied that there is a level of nostalgia and memories tied up in these indulgences. Muscle Memory It is often said that once you learn to ride a bike you can never forget. This is true in most cases, however, there is always a split second before you get the hang of it that you are on the slight brink of falling. This piece captures our sense of Proprioception and nostalgia when riding a bike using muscle memory.
