Devotion is a series of risograph prints which ruminates on the importance of platonic relationships. The illustrations are depicted through a medieval fictional lens which draws a comparison between modern friendship and the devout dedication of a knight. In a society that prioritizes romantic relationships above all others, this defiant work considers the intricacy of the emotional ties that bind us together. Connected solely by a deep devotion to one another, personal friendships are explored through themes of growth, community, and what it means to know someone as time passes us by.
