Without U.S.
Both Canada and the United States have been known as nations of immigrants. However, how often do we show our appreciation for their contributions? This body of work seeks to commemorate them and demonstrate just how much these contributions are essential to many of the benefits of being a resident of either country, as well as to some of the characteristics associated with our identity as Canadians or Americans. It does so by visualizing an alternative world where there had been no immigrants in Canada and the United States, which is a world where citizens of both nations would be at a significant disadvantage.
