‘Lowly’ illustrates overlooked systems in nature in the form of medieval devotional manuscripts (The Book of Hours) to allow us to meditate on what is worthy of our time and consideration. We should all take the time to think about how all things are connected, big and small. The contributions of small workings outside of us and inside of us keep the world and us alive.
