“Hakea the Prudent Pyrophyte” Hakea are hardy plants that invest in larger seeds to make sure the plant survives in case of fire or other natural disasters. Bean learns to focus on what’s important, such as the safety of his parents rather than replaceable objects damaged from a house fire.
