Clothing is a feature specific to human beings. Despite its initial purposes of heating and protection from natural elements, clothes have become a status-bearing symbol in today’s modern world. My thesis, Cathartic Couture, imagines a world where clothing functioned as a deeper, more intimate part of the human being, and reflects desires, tragedies & conflicts of one’s subconscious.
