In these illustrations, I will use visual strategies of distortion that caused by a typical “authoritarian” control in China for several aspects, such as parents, schooling system and government restriction and social issues. By demonstrating how these restrictions and excessive expectations can distort a young person’s psychologically and outlook on life, in order to question what kinds of impacts will be caused by “authoritarian” control.
