Endless Green
From a broader perspective, humans and plants appear to be polar opposites: humans possess active consciousness, engage in communication, and exert subjective agency, while plants remain silent, stationary, and often blend into their surroundings. However, upon closer examination of their characteristics and behaviors, subtle similarities emerge between human and plant communities. Both are responsive to stimuli, possess reproductive capabilities, adapt, develop, and evolve, albeit at different rates.
I propose that all living beings, including humans, harbor intrinsic “plant-like qualities” that have been overshadowed by fast-paced lifestyles. What if we were to slow down, allowing ourselves to absorb happiness, sorrow, success, and adversity with quiet introspection, granting ourselves the time and space to experience existence akin to plants? Could this be our most innate mode of living? With this notion in mind, I endeavor to manifest the envisioned harmony between plants and humans.
