Hipster “resurrectionists” bring old technology considered sacred back to mainstream use. The “Aquanaut” explores the similarities of the deep sea and space, and how little of either of these we’ve actually explored. The “Toad Doctor” uses toad venom as a form of DMT to treat treatment resistant PTSD and depression. The “Printer’s Devil” poses as a salesman to trick unwitting clients into signing their souls over to him. A queer father or “Bear-Leader” teaches his son valuable lessons on what it really means to be a man. A modern day “Town Crier” spreads misinformation through twitter without fact checking. The “Ice-man” sells jewellery from the back of his truck to the local neighbourhood. “Herb-Strewers” bug a local gardener while smoking and growing marijuana around his garden. The “Projectionist” astral projects themselves in order to accomplish the many tasks throughout the day they otherwise do not have the time to do. “Crossing Sweepers” sweep away the junk, and vices from the material plane in order to help one cross into the afterlife. Close Odd Jobs Odd Jobs takes obsolete professions from the past and reinterprets them using elements of the fantastical and the occult to challenge human traditions and values.
